Electric Transformer Industry Application
Transformers are used to achieve the transformation and connection between voltage levels. In the power transmission and transformation process of the power system, transformers are an important electrical equipment. There are many classification methods for transformers. For example, there are oil-immersed and dry types according to the insulation medium and cooling method. According to the number of windings, there are double-winding, three-winding, autotransformer, split transformer, etc.
Electric Transformer Industry Application
Transformers are widely used in many fields, including power grids, new energy (wind, light, storage), rail transportation, electric vehicle charging piles, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, real estate construction, etc.
1. Power system
The power system is divided into different parts: power generation-transformation-transmission-distribution-transformation. The purpose is to transmit the power of the power supply to the user. Transformers of different voltage levels are used in different links. 220KV and above are transmission and transformation systems, 35, 63, 110KV are high-voltage distribution systems, and 10KV, 6KV are medium-voltage distribution systems. 380V, 220V are low-voltage distribution systems. The conversion of voltage in different links requires the use of transformers of corresponding grades.
2. Industrial field
Transformers are used in steel, chemical, metallurgy and other industries. Transformers are used to convert 220V voltage into low-voltage current suitable for production equipment to meet the voltage requirements of different electrical components in industrial production.
3. Electric locomotives, subways and other rail transportation
Transformers are used to convert high-voltage electric energy of traction power supply into low-voltage electric energy to drive motors and realize the normal operation of vehicles.
4. New energy
New energy refers to renewable energy sources that are different from traditional fossil fuels, such as solar energy, wind energy, and hydropower. In photovoltaic power generation, hydropower and wind power generation systems, transformers play a role in adjusting voltage and current to ensure the stable operation of the power system.
5. Real estate construction
In high-rise buildings or large-scale construction such as shopping malls, office buildings, etc., a large number of power equipment are required to support their operations. Transformers provide power for equipment in these places to ensure their stable operation.
